Breaking News - Wheatley Not Charged As Yet.

Dr Andrew Wheatley.

Dr Andrew Wheatley has not been charged as yet as recommended by the Integrity Commission. Dr. Andrew Wheatley has gone to the Supreme Court seeking permission to apply for a judicial review of the decision by the Integrity Commission (IC) that he be slapped with multiple charges, including illicit enrichment.

A reliable source says that the courts will deal with the matters relating to the recommendations by the Integrity Commission, and then certain decisions will be made afterwards. The court will deal with these matters on July 23, 2026.

Based on the statements made by the IC, I get the impression that the IC has found that Wheatley has committed certain acts and should be changed. Wheatley's team will no doubt question this and put arguments forward stating that the IC acted ultra vires. The private sector and other organizations should hold back on their judgment of Minister Wheatley, which might be premature.

Can you imagine if the IC pushes for charges against several cabinet members and certain organizations call for these cabinet members' resignation? This could cripple the government. Interesting days are ahead.

  2. The IC to date has acted so recklessly the public has no confidence in that entity. Such a pity it's either green or orange in this country. People of integrity where are you hiding?
