From The Water Commission - June 30, 2026
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that it will be implementing water regulation measures for the Constant Spring Water Treatment Facility in St. Andrew, due to declining inflows at the Hermitage Dam.
Current data indicates the Hermitage Dam is at 65.4% of its 393.5 million gallons (MG) capacity, reflecting reduced inflows associated with the ongoing dry spell. To safeguard remaining supplies and ensure equitable distribution, water supply regulation will take effect Friday, July 3, 2026.
The regulated supply schedule times will apply to the following communities:
Nightly, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Central Avenue, Honey Hill, Beverlydale, upper sections of Constant Spring Road, Roehampton and nearby areas, Highland Drive and nearby areas, upper Waterloo, Donmair, Mannings Hill Road, Patrick City, West Avenue, Queensborough,
Queensbury, upper sections of Molynes Road, Molynes Gardens, Perkins, White Hall Avenue, Duhaney Park, Pembroke Hall, Sullivan Avenue, Swansea Avenue, Oaklands, sections of Hughenden, Valentine Gardens, upper Grants Pen, Shortwood Avenue, Meadowbrook Estate, Camperdown, Dunrobin, Ziadie Gardens, Cassava Piece and surrounding communities
Daily, between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

It is to be noted that due to location and/or elevation, all areas will not receive water supply simultaneously during scheduled supply periods.
Customers are encouraged to store water during supply periods and conserve for use in the off times.
