Many did not expect to see Gem Myers on the Jazz and Cabaret In The Gardens show last night because she was not on the original artist lineup. The real shock came when Grub Cooper appeared with Fab 5. We know that Grub was no longer with Fab 5, and some thought that they would never see Grub perform with Fab 5 again. Well, Jazz and Cabaret In The Gardens worked some magic. Grub Cooper did a fantastic show with Fab 5. The audience was delighted.
Jamaica has some talented artistes who must be given support. Everything is not just about dancehall music and dancehall artistes.

Richie Sax is the next saxophonist to watch. He is also a singer. Richie Sax is a showman. You could not miss his outstanding outfit, which matched his shoes and a great smile for his audience. Other young performers can learn from him. He came well dressed, well rehearsed, and well prepared for his audience.
Richie Sax brought on his teacher and mentor, Sparrow Martin, to perform with him. Sparrow taught Richie Sax while he was at Alpha Music School.

Alex Welcom, the big man with the big voice, had the audience rocking. He transformed Jazz and Cabaret In The Gardens into a church electrified by the spirit as he had the audience hand-clapping, feet-stomping, and thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Sweet petite Keisha Patterson, the little lady with the awesome voice, was a powerhouse performer. Many of us are still guessing her age. Keisha is a dancer, so she should incorporate dancing into her act in a big way.
Gem is a seasoned professional performer who has toured the world. She decided to bring back memories of some old hit festival songs. That was a hit with the audience. She was a beauty to look at on stage. Yes, she has the figure of a twenty-year-old.
