NWC Release - September 5, 2026
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in Havendale, Meadowbrook, Forest Hill Gardens, East and West Great House Circle in St. Andrew that a water supply schedule has been implemented between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily.
The NWC is noting that the Havendale Deepwell Facility, which serves these areas, has now been incorporated into the Corporate Area drought regulation measures.
The Commission is also informing that while every effort will be made to adhere strictly to the supply schedule, interruptions may occur as a result of a broken main, a facility electro-mechanical fault, or the need for storage rebuilding.
Additionally, water may not reach all customers at the exact time, as supply is also affected by location, elevation, and proximity.
Customers are therefore encouraged to store and conserve water for use during the off-schedule periods to ensure they have an adequate supply.
The NWC apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks customers for their cooperation as we work to manage available supply across the Corporate Area during this drought.
