A 15-year-old was arrested and faces 11 counts of attempted second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a delinquent in connection with a mass shooting Saturday night that left 11 people wounded, Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell said Monday morning.
Editor's Note
Too many young people seem to have access to guns in the USA. If you make guns available for your citizens, then only citizens above the age of 30 years old should have access to guns. There is a crisis in the US with what seems like free access to guns.

What a sad situation
ReplyDeleteMosr of the blame for thids s pho by tuld be laid at the feet of SCOTUS who misread and misinterpreted the 2nd Amendment to the US Consitution for political reasons, enshrining a right (to individually) bear arms that is not in tbe Constitution. Hence the madness that continues to devastate America from within. I hope Jamaicans learn from and are guided in the correct durection by this self-inflicted wound that Americans refuse to cauterize or treat successfully.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same problem here in Jamaica for decades and the laws here are been updated to deter persons from taking up and continuing gun crimes, yet you have agencies having issues with the consequences of such criminal activities. Persons prefer to send guns and drugs to this beautiful country of ours instead of supporting social programs and schools with the monies used to buy these destructive elements of our country.
ReplyDeleteSome might say but why should we care; however, many of those guns end up in the streets of Jamaica and kill our people. We don't make guns in Jamaica. The majority of them are sent here from the United States. If the US sneezes, Jamaica gets a cold.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is not access to guns.
ReplyDeleteIt is the people who.need to access their civilized humanity instead of the crass, uncivilized ,vulgar ,murderous, slack Nasty Mouthist ideological content.
More murderous policingnis not it's more people are being murdered than the net population increase.
Country.lacks civilized leadership now being taken over by dancehall duncehall governance.
No one listens to.politicians, parsons, teachers ,private sector leaders or intellectuals.
Someone needs to rise to the ocasion. talking to the nation.
Over to you
Bark Di Trute .
Someone.needs to speak to all of Jamaica a resocialization program embedded.in the nation's curriculum need to be persued.
ReplyDeleteWe continue to dance and sing to.murder.
In 2025 we had a celebration for only 673 murders down from 1197 in 2024.
That same year the population had a net increase of 600 let that sink in my uncivilized Jamaican people.Just STOP IT
Some of us become respectable stars as Murdera,Killi Killi ,Shatta,Don a run the place.
The baby boy emulates all of that as they see Killi Killi gun bway having the nicest girls.
Right now I see an elder singer doing well with a song welcoming gunman "tyte tyte" in her environs.
Do you know there are many girls who won't be with you unless you are a badman Don,or some sort of criminal.
Deadly crimes will end if all women turn against Criminal behaviour.
How about 10 years imprisonment for subversive songs and performances promoting "come mek we murder them" or rrrrrrrr machine gun fire on people.
Gun finger style.pointing and threatening death in song and dance is most uncivilized.
I recall a little boy a man now when he got vexed used to point his 2 fingers at you and say "I PRONOUNCE YOU DEAD".
IF we comyinue we will all be pronouncing each other dead.
Do better than dat Jamaica, women reject gunmen inna yuh "tyte tyte" environs.
It will happen one day.
