The BBC reported this wonderful story about a quick-thinking captain who saved his life and his passengers'.
Capt Smit Machchhar saved his life and that of his passengers after he was seriously injured by his co-pilot on a Flydubai plane. He was injured and was on the ground, and he was still able to open the cockpit door to allow other passengers to come in and assist him. The plane was carrying 170 passengers.
The captain spoke from his hospital bed with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Flydubai's flight FZ1073, which was bound for Tel Aviv from Dubai early on Wednesday morning, plunged more than 17,000 ft two and a half hours into its journey.
After the 9/11 terrorist attack in the US, the aviation authorities decided to put doors on the cockpit of all planes. Now the terrorists are training people to become pilots, and therefore the attack is now coming from within the cockpit.
The BBC reports: After fellow passengers overpowered the attacker, two reserve pilots, who were onboard, safely landed the plane at Tabuk Airport in north-western Saudi Arabia at 06:58 local time.
The question one will ask is what the terrorist hoped to achieve by taking down a plane full of innocent people.
The Israeli PM is reported as saying that the attacker was an Omani national and said investigations suggested he had undergone "Islamist radical indoctrination."

Anything but what's going on would be better for Jamaica.
