Guess The Recipe For This Interesting Nutritious Dish!!!

We spend too much money purchasing foods from fast food places that are unhealthy for us. Many of us end up suffering from diabetes, for example, because we do not eat properly. Today is Sunday, and you would be shocked to see the amount of people heading to a fast food place to buy breakfast.

I prepared lunch yesterday, which was a healthy meal. It did not cost me much to prepare. All was ready in about twenty minutes. Can you guess the recipe? Add your recipe as a comment. Let's see if I can find a winner. Have fun. It will not be easy.

The Honourable, Dr. Alfred Sangster GIven a Beautiful Send-Off

The Hon. Dr Alfred Sangster OJ, CD, JP

I got a strange feeling today as I entered the gates of CAST, now called UTech Ja, to attend the funeral service of a great Jamaican leader, The Hon. Dr. Alfred Sangster OJ, CD, JP, PhD, the former head of UTech Ja. Things have changed significantly on the campus since I left there. There are more buildings and less green area. The dreams of Dr. Sangster are now realities—the auditorium, the pool, and the college, which is now a university.

On entering the auditorium, one felt the spirit of the man—the humble man who refused to move up from driving a swift to get another car befitting his status. He did not feel it was right to enjoy the luxury of a posh car while his students were struggling to pay the school fees.

This man would be in his office one moment; the next he could be playing dominoes or football with his students or working with his groundsmen, looking after the plants and maintaining the well-manicured lawns.

Alfred Sangster did not go searching for honour and glory, it came to him. I saw a few political and business leaders there. Far more should be there to hear about this great leader. He managed this outstanding institution for the benefit of the nation. He did not lead from an office but walked the campus mingling with the students, academic staff, and other staff members.

Many business and political leaders could have learned quite a lot during this service by listening to the tributes to Dr. Sangster. Apparently many were too busy to be there to pay tribute to a man who has made a significant contribution to our nation's development. Dr. Sangster was not about getting power but helping others to move ahead. Doc got a beautiful send-off today.

Dr Alfred Sangster helped to develop an institution where academics, sports, cultural activities, and giving service to the community were of equal importance. If only Jamaica could produce more leaders like Doc - if only.

Commissioner of Police Dr. Kevin Blake Gives a Powerful Statement To The Nation

We have seen improvements in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) over the last ten years. More needs to be done, but Jamaicans need to give the officers the support needed now. We cannot support the criminals and the police at the same time. We cannot protect the dons and wash their blooded clothes and then complain that the police are ineffective. We cannot see and be blind, hear and be deaf, and then expect the police to solve all crimes. The police must also listen and work with those of us who are willing to work with them.

We need to hear from our Commissioner of Police, Dr Kevin Blake, at least once per month, speaking with that same calm and authoritative sounding voice heard in the video below.

Jamaicans must unite with the police to fight crime. Jamaicans For Justice should first be JFJ, Jamaicans For Jamaica. You are fast becoming irrelevant.

Start showing your support for the police in the fight against criminals by sharing this blog with as many people as possible. Thanks.

Bark Di Trute Supporter Says Thanks To Firefighters and Others

I am taking the time out, to say thank you to the wonderful staff of fire πŸ”₯ fighters, from Savanna-La-Mar, Negril, Hanover and even as far as Montego Bay. Thank you so much for your dedication and unwavering strength to make sure that the Gas Station ⛽ was not caught up in the blaze. They made sure to contain it to one area so it could not spread and cause widespread damage to the rest of the building 🏒. That was bravery in the midst of crisis and NWC and their water 🌊 trucks came along and helped out the fire πŸ”₯ fighters. Hat's off to all of you. They are truly superheroes. They deserve something from the Prime Minister, for such a an outstanding task

Job well done, and to the police πŸš“ teams and the Ambulance πŸš‘. Job well doneπŸ‘! Keep up the great work! Am so happy to know that everyone was on board in such a dangerous situation. God bless you all my people's. From Mr. Versatile .

Students Getting Away With Murder in Schools

Editor's Response

The behaviour of many of these students, who are young adults, must be treated seriously. Some of these cases should be dealt with by the police. A classroom cannot be a holding area for young criminals and will be disruptive in the school environment.

Supermarkets and Other Places Being Locked Down By Health Department

Editor's Response

Citizens should not only rely on the authorities to close down places that are not functioning at the required level. We need to police these and other places. Citizens also should monitor financial institutions and do their checks before dealing with financial institutions.
