Now you understand why some MPs are soft on the criminals.

Breaking News - Former MP Charged With Incest
A former PNP MP faces incest charges, according to at least one media house and other sources. The former MP molested his teenage daughter.

The name of the former MP is being withheld to protect the child's identity. The Gleaner, dated April 7, reports that the PNP will be acting on this matter. The question is, if the PNP party is aware of the alleged offender, then it is already public knowledge. Who gave the information to the PNP?
The former MP will have to go to court, and if convicted, he will serve time in His Majesty's hotel. How will the police keep that secret when another former MP has to serve time in prison?
If the former MP's name is kept confidential, then when he leaves prison, people will not know of his criminal history, and their daughters could be left to his mercy.
What a life. Dis is Sodom and Gomorrah.
A few current and former MPs have had run-ins with the law. I wonder how many more are out there whom we have not heard about.

Man Has Made History Today In Going Into Space Beyond The Moon
Mankind made history today when Artemis II flew four astronauts farther in space than any human has gone.
I find it intriguing that traditional media in Jamaica has ignored this event. I must admit that I do not get to listen to all the radio stations or watch TV. Have you seen or heard anything about this historical achievement from any local media house report today?
TVJ primarily reported on crime and individuals who have allegedly died in confrontations with the police.
The ten-day mission is crewed by NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. Let's hope that Jamaica sent a congratulatory message to the astronauts, the president, and the people of America. We should also commend the countries that partnered with the US and the Canadian astronaut who was a part of the team.

Citizen's Complaint
Please consider this feedback from someone with extensive experience in managing traffic. Please let me know if you have similar concerns. She also speaks about security guards constantly being on their phones. This issue is one I have spoken about before. The NWA and the police need to address the traffic situation at the intersection of Kingsway Avenue and Hope Road.

The way the system is set up at the intersection of Kingsway Avenue and Hope Road is to force those who are heading in a southerly direction on Hope Road to go all the way down to Waterloo Road and make a right turn. This arrangement ends up creating more traffic issues. A filter light is needed that will allow vehicles coming down Hope Road to turn onto Kingsway Avenue. This measure would also assist those motorists who are exiting Andrews Hospital and heading onto Kingsway Avenue.
This matter concerns security guards. These guards assigned to various organization are left to perform on their own, so often times these guards are on their cell phones dealing with more important issues. Companies need to have undercover agents checking on their guards.
I remember some years ago when I tried getting the attention of a security guard who was on his phone. He was extremely annoyed that I interrupted his call. He told me, "Yu no see mi dey pon di phone."
Police Abuses Citizen
When a police officer treats someone like that, the police officer should be treated like a common criminal and expelled from the force. We are making significant efforts to change the JCF, and we cannot allow one or two rotten eggs to spoil it.
Train Police How To Direct Traffic
We are aware that standards have fallen drastically in Jamaica, and the impact is national. Recently, I saw a police officer in dark clothes making some frantic-looking hand movements. It came across to me that he was telling me to hurry.
The next thing you know is that the officer came up to me and declared that he told me to stop, and I disobeyed the police officer. He approached me in a very aggressive manner. I told him good afternoon and assured him that I am not a madman and that I would stop when told to do so by a police officer.
You remember the days when police officers wore bright coloured clothing and you could recognize them from afar. They had on white gloves, and they had specific hand signals to direct drivers. Now their hands are all over the place as if they are in a pond trying hard to stay afloat.
Mr Commissioner, please ensure that police officers are retrained in the traditional way of directing traffic.

Fire At Retirement Dump Continues. Residents affected
Reports coming from citizens indicate that there is still a fire at the Retirement Disposal site in the west. I would advise residents in the surrounding areas to wear masks. If you or any member of the family should experience respiratory issues then seek medical attention immediately.

Breaking News
The other pilot who was missing after their US fighter jet was shot down over Iran, has been found.
It is amazing that this soldier was able to hide from enemy forces until he was found.
Iran had put on a a bounty on this soldier’s head.
Fire Reported at Retirement Disposal Site
Press Release From The NSWMA- April 4, 2026
The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) is advising the public that a fire was detected earlier today, April 4, 2026, at the Retirement Disposal Site in St. James.
The fire is located along the edge, on the right side as one enters the disposal site. The Jamaica Fire Brigade responded promptly and is currently on location working alongside NSWMA personnel to bring the situation under control.
Teams are also making efforts to cover the affected area with marl as quickly as possible to minimize the impact of smoke on nearby communities.
Presently, the disposal site is very soggy due to recent rainy weather conditions, making it difficult for trucks and heavy-duty equipment to navigate the space. Nonetheless, the team is working assiduously to bring the fire under control.
While the cause of the fire remains unknown, the NSWMA wishes to assure the public that this matter is being managed at the highest level by its Landfill Director, Mr Dave Powell.
Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.

A Viral Video Of An Alleged Murderer
I have strong opinions about criminals and murderers, in particular. Jamaica is a democratic country, and murderers should have their lives taken when they have taken another person's life. I am especially referring to premeditated murders and those committed during a crime. I believe that if the issue were put to a vote, about 80% of voters would support capital punishment, but our leaders will not do their jobs. What are our leaders afraid of? They need to tell the nation.
After saying all of that, I will now comment on the video shown above. The source that sent this video to me said that this JDF soldier accessed his spouse's phone, and he saw some action videos with his spouse and someone else. If the story is true, it is clear that this man has no self-esteem. He has committed murder and has now thrown away his life because of a woman. That is what you call a madman. There are so many women outa road a look man. A fool him fool so?
I am probably being too harsh. We need to start socializing our young men and women to learn how to deal with relationship challenges and family issues. All we can hear about is how many students pass English and mathematics. I am happy that I went to a school where each week we had some open and frank discussions with a minister of religion.
I must commend the police officers for their restraint and for getting the man to lie on the ground. The man could have saved the country's funds by taking his life rather than trying to put the police in trouble by asking them to kill him. There would be no need for a trial with judges, lawyers, witnesses, and jurors. The taxpayers will have to meet all those costs.
What a life!
Let's wait on the police to carry out their investigation and for the matter to be taken to court.
