That Cash Plus - Trial For 2017

One of our 'On The Ground Reporters' Reported that The Carlos Hill/Cash Plus  case was called up today. He now has two lawyers representing him - Valerie Neita-Robertson and Deborah Martin.

The case has been set for trial on May 22, 2017 . The DPP representative is Leighton Morris. The judge complained that the case has been hanging around from 2008 and it needs to be settled now.  The parties are claiming that they need time to get everything together.  Supt Fitz Daley is suppose to subpoena persons to come to the hearing. A team will determine the persons to be subpoenaed .

Carlos Hill is still on bail. He is to report to the station every Monday.  We understand that the usually relaxed, well rested Carlos Hill who is always well dressed seemed a bit stressed out this morning.

Persons  who invested in the scheme, believe that this is just another stalling of the proceedings to frustrate investors. Reports are that some of the complainants were not allowed to enter the court. One complainant said that she was advised to wait outside and she would be advised of the new court date. Many of the complainants felt that this case is a waste of time for this 70  year old. The complainants remarked that by the time the case is called up Carlos Hill would have been dead.
