An elderly gentleman's car was stolen and he was kidnapped and thrown in a pit which the police says is over fifty feet deep. The man was retrieved from the pit by a team of policemen and firelighters on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
This pit is located on Jones Avenue in Spanish down. His car was stolen from last week Thursday and he was thrown into the pit. The man was in the pit for three days without food.
He was taken to the nearby hospital for treatment.
The question one of my On The Ground Reporters and Consultant on crimminal matters ask is, "How did that man drop 50 feet into that narrow hole, and he didn't suffer major damage to his head and to the rest of his body.
Was this man forced to go into this pit for something which was dropped in there? Is it that they could not figure how to get him out and someone sought help?
There is more to this story and this man who has been rescued could be in serious danger. His whereabouts must be kept secret.
