Today the sound of her voice is unable to fill our hearts, but we can give the family the love and support which they need at this time. Continue to fight Karen because we are hoping for the best. Let us continue to pray for the song bird, and Jazz singer, Karen Smith.
We love you Karen.
Note: I will continue to update you as soon as I get new information from the family.
Add your comments to the blog and the family will see it.
Karen died a few hours after this post was put up.

What's wrong with her? Is she ill? Whatever it is I wish her the best and hope to hear her soon again
Karen is no longer with us. I understand that she died early this morning.
Hope you faith and strength merged in God grace will carry you through.
She died this morning
THANKS FOR THE YEARS OF CHEER!
Her smile was bigger than her face
It lighted up any room and filled every space
Her voice was compelling
Soulful, soft , soothing and all that Jazz..
I would go to an event cause Karen was booked to show.
Never struck by stardom or fame and never missed the chance to say hello.
Often she left the stage to hug "high five" or greet you with her eyes.
Karen was my songbird . She warmed my heart like noone else. Her vibration was the same on and off the stage. Music was her tool to touch lives and inspire. My star has exited the stage to eternity ; may the angels usher her to paradise.
