Bold solid colours that binds,
Black or white patterns
Like the colours of the rainbow,
Satisfy the desires of
The Human spirit.
She bought a bow tie
This time,
Convinced this knot
Will be perennial as the grass.
The other three liaisons
Never lasted a wink;
One was a player,
The other crooked as the tree,
And mister cool and deadly
Shot a pistol like an arrow.
She wanted a sure ticket
The jackpot of a relationship,
Following grandma’s advice
Give him a tie,
He will stay for life.
