The Fighter - Fireman Leo Bennett for SpotOn Tuesday, March 21, 2023

SpotOn

Sergeant Leo Bennett
Holding a sick hawk which he cared for and then released it.

Tuesday, March 21, my special guest on SpotOn which is aired on Riddim FM, will be Leo Bennett, the fireman who took his protest to a high level as he stood perched atop the Transportation Centre building in Halfway Tree in Kingston, protesting.  He will join me during Talk Yu Talk. Many people believe that he is mad, some think that he is illiterate but tomorrow we will learn more about him and his concerns for the fire service and the people of Jamaica.

He did what many of us would never dare to do. He made a point and the whole nation was held at attention as they listened to his message - a message which is that our fire men and women need some attention. Will history absolve him?

SpotOn is aired Monday to Friday from 1000 to 1300 hours EST. Riddim FM is on the FM band at 102.1, 102.3, 102.5, 102.7 and 102.9.

Dr. Llewelyn Johnson

Dr. Llewellyn Johnson will join me for Your Health Your Wealth. Dr, Johnson's office is located in the cool hills of Mandeville.

Trevor Samuels
National Consumers League

Trevor Samuels from the National Consumers League will join me for Consumer Talk. He will be giving some valuable tips as usual to the consumers.

Businessman, Ken Grant from Albert Town in Trelawny will be my guest for the Business Hub.

The Most Expensive Road in Jamaica!

The following is a report from an On The Ground Reporter:

Good afternoon Vernon: When fixed, this area of Road (right after leaving Charlton Gully) doesn't last for much long before it needs fixing again.  I busted a tyre there a few months ago and I was shocked to see another pothole in no time. Please ask the authorities to ensure that this repair last for at least a year this time.

Note: T was reported some years ago to management by Stephen Shaw, because I blasted him for his responses to reports about how our roads are maintained. Nothing has changed in how the National Wutless Agency (NWA) operates. Let's see how much money they plan to spend on this road in Kingston. The people of Jamaica seem to be happy with how the agency operates. Taxpayers dollars no wut nutten!!!

Why Only Part of Road Being Fixed in Lottery

BEING FIXED

NOT BEING FIXED

Persons living in Lottery in St. James are asking why part of their road is being fixed while a part is not. There might be a good reason for this, but we need to communicate this to  the people. Probably Minister Edmund Bartlette or Councillor Mark McGann can give me some answers please?

Businesswoman Claims Confidential Email Leaked by Council

Mayor Sydney Stewart
Mayor of St. Ann

A businesswoman claims that she made a report to the St. Ann Parish Council about a construction of a building which she believes was illegal. The woman is now alleging that the email was shown to a Bishop who is responsible for the construction. The bishop the woman says turned up at her business place enquiring why the complaint was made. The businesswoman is also claiming that a member of the church came to her business place and started preaching loudly and screaming on top of her voice.

The businesswoman is now fear that someone might harm her. A call was made to the Mayor Sydney Stuart who says that he has no information about the matter. I told him that the matter needs to be invested because this is a very serious matter.
