Minister Malahoo Forte Being Targeted on Social Media

There is a very incriminating YouTube video making the rounds on social media and implying that Minister Malahoo Forte is involved in irregular matters. I have been reliably informed that there is a dispute in court and Minister Malahoo Forte is not involved in this court matter. My understanding is that this has to do with what many of us know as dead-lef dispute. Dead-lef disputes can become very bitter and nasty.

My source tells me that Minister Malahoo Forte is being dragged into it because she is seen as a political heavyweight. The source is saying that because her relatives are involved in the case it has become a matter of if you can't ketch Quaku yu ketch im shut.

Indications are that steps might be taken to identify and bring a case against those persons who it is believed are defaming the Minister. To my readers, do not distribute material that is defamatory, because you could end up being sued for distributing material that defames one's character.

I would suggest that those who are dealing with this matter in court continue to do so because discussing a matter like that which is in court might be seen as contempt of court.

Jamaicans, we have many other challenges affecting this country such as crime so we should not get caught up with a family land feud that has no national implications. You will recall that recently the brother of an MP was arrested and the matter was portrayed on social media as if the MP was involved in a criminal matter. There is a lot a su su and gossip now circulating on the internet as facts. Some of these persons on social media I have been reliably informed are suffering from mental challenges and although some of what they say is true, we should not get caught up with many of these persons who continue to mislead the public. We are too intelligent to allow that to happen to us.

I welcome your comments on this article. Thanks.

  5. We like to tarnish the character of OTHERS to keep ours intact. The other day the brother of a pnp mp was arrested for drugs and what was put out by these bloggers sought to mix up the mp with his brother's wrongdoing. We need to stop it. Wait for FACTS
