NWC, ODPEM and JPSCo Report on The Weather and its Impact on Their Operations

We have not seen such heavy rainfall in Jamaica and such flooding in a long time. A few persons have lost their homes and their belongings. Some people will not be able to get home tonight in this bad weather condition. Let us think of them.

When the rains have subsided, we must be careful. The soil is water-logged, and if we have more rain in the next few days, this will create more damage.

Please send pictures of flooding at WhatsApp number 876 816-5261

The driver of vehicle 5694KH ensured that the vehicle passed pedestrians slowly to avoid splashing them. The driver even stopped to allow an old lady to cross the street.

Congratulations to the caring driver of this vehicle

Please send your videos, pictures and reports of the flooding damage to the infrastructure to 876 816-5261.

  4. What is problem with these development, every time they are doing Houses or Highways . , because them stop making factories. The people are suffering. It is so true, most of the times, they are not speaking to the little people on the ground! Them thing that because them go university and come back them know more than those that lives in area. What is really wrong with our mind set? Wake up Jamaica! Prime Minister shake up! So we all can live up!
