Scammers and Sweet Mout People - Beware of Them!

It is amazing how people continue to allow themselves to be scammed and taken for a ride by these scammers and sweet-mouth persons.

Here is one report  I just received from a reader about scamming:

"Warning about Grand Piano Scam:

Music Unites Jamaica Foundation was one of the 'chosen targets' to recently have been offered the donation of a free Steinway Grand Piano!

As much as Music Unites would love such a 'grand donation', we luckily discovered that this offer was in fact a very slick scam attempt that has been circulated to several addresses across Jamaica. Please be careful if such an offer comes to you, as it is almost certainly a SCAM!"

These Fake Organizations

Some people are forming organizations and installing themselves as presidents. I know of one individual who was president for life for one organization. I am unaware of this organization having regular meetings, yet the president was on radio shows and TV programmes representing this virtual organization. When he died, the name of the organization also died.

There is one recently formed political organization that I thought would be registered and putting up candidates for the next local government elections. As far as I know, the organization is no longer functional. Questions are now being asked about the organization's funds.

Some media houses continue to have these persons as guests on their programmes. This promotion has led to Jamaicans believing that these persons are reputable. Is it that we are just looking for news bites and it does not matter where it comes from? I have alerted various organizations and media houses about some of these persons.

Have a look at these posts:

People appointed with power of attorney, end up abusing the elderly who they are acting for. I got a report of a well-known person who has been living off an elderly person. I have another report of a man who moved in with an elderly woman who is over 90 years old. The man is sucking the woman dry. The stories are too much to mention. What can the government do about this because many elderly people are affected? These people are scammers.

The biggest scamming now is the disappearance of depositors' funds in financial institutions. Many Jamaicans feel that in the case of the banks, these are inside jobs.

We are living in a sick world. God help us!

If you are aware of an elderly person being scammed and abused, send me a WhatsApp message at 876 816-5261 and give me detailed information.

Let me have your comments.
