Fireworks Startled the Sleepy Community of Padmore in St. Andrew

The quiet, peaceful and serene mood in the hills of Padmore was shattered tonight with the explosive sounds of fireworks in the area. Many residents felt the area was under attack by criminals. This happened a few minutes ago. 

I wonder what they were celebrating at this time of the year? Is it a case of when money is hot in your hands you have to throw away some in fireworks.

Let's hope that the other Jamaicans can get permits to carry in firecrackers for Christmas.

Note: A reader sent a message to say that the place were they had the fireworks is Copper Hill.
