Bark Di Trute Host Guest At Beginning of Emancipation Activities in Freetown.

I was the Guest speaker at Free Town, in Clarendon at the International Gospel Centre on Sunday, July 28, 2024. Dignitaries attending were MP Pearnel Charles Jr and the Mayor of May Pen, Councillor Joel Williams. The service was one of the activities leading up to Emancipation Day. Free Town was the second village to be declared free after Sligoville.

The function was organized by the Free Town Citizens' Association and Neighbourhood Watch Group. The President is Mr Verol Dixon.

The people participated fully in the function and had a wonderful time. The function was chaired by Bishop Cerrie Davidson. Other people there represent the police, the army, the SDC, political parties, citizens associations and government and non-governmental organizations.

Note: If you attended the function and took pictures and videos, please WhatsApp them at 876 816-5261. I would love to share them online.
