Demonstration in Westmoreland - Residents Call for Speedy Restoration of Electricity

One of my On The Ground Reporters in  Paradise, Westmoreland, says that members of the Warf Road community staged a demonstration at the entrance of the JPS main power outlet. They protested against the delay in electricity restoration following Hurricane Beryl's passage on July 3. The police were present to ensure order and to maintain a watchful presence.

  6. Come on people be patient, being up on light posts and light wire is no easy task, I can tell you, and some of the wires are through hilly terrains and valleys very dangerous, just redirect your mindset and come up with ways to cope, and the more mature those who were here before light even existed take yourself back to that time ,that's what I do, get dome bottle torch or the solar lights they have selling now and light up the communities. God bless
