The most shocking news this week in Jamaica is that the Office of Utilities Regulations (OUR) and some leaders were not aware of the significant increase in electricity bills this month.
I understand these people do not get bills from JPSCo.
The question is, did the JPSCo do anything illegally or did they follow the law. Who made the law and the regulations?
Why did we have to sell JPSCo to foreigners?
Can you answer these questions? I am sure you have your own questions about this matter! Do you care enough to demand answers and action?

What intelligent sensitive meters. My, my. These meters smart Fi true - they know not to increase the perceived 'influencers' bills.
As my Daddy used to say, "Is a good thing God is not like man!"
I have changed out to LED bulbs years now and my bills galloped after the change out & still the bill climbs monthly.

Jpsco is pushing ppl bp sky high which can lead to all kina problem. When I got my bill it was only the grace of God why I did not go nuts, Jps r killing us fast, we the consumers a meet it.. help, help, help
Successive governments have allowed the JPS to rob the public in order to create super profits for their shareholders. Over the year's we have had to deal with massive blackouts, power barges, the B6 unit etc. At no time was the public able to get a break!
6 year's ago I became pensionable, and thought "I can live off this monthly sum" now my pension can't cover my light bill and I am in my 70s but have to continue working in my so called "golden years".
JPS is an outright THIEF, but that's what you get with a monopoly and a government whose members are asleep at the wheel!! But what a day when they no longer hold high office, and become a member of " John public" !
