At a special edition of the Post Cabinet Press Briefing on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, Prime Minister, Dr the Most Honourable Andrew Holness announced the date for the by-elections in the constituencies of Trelawny Southern and St Andrew North Western.
Relevant dates for the by-elections in Trelawny Southern and St Andrew North Western are as follows:
• Nomination Day: Wednesday, November 6, 2024
• Election Day: Friday, November 22, 2024
The Government of Jamaica encourages all eligible voters to utilise their constitutional right to vote and participate actively in the democratic process.
