Area 5 Finalist Constable Junior Thompson
Non- Geographic Finalist Constable Jahvarn Brown
The Lasco Foundation, and the Jamaica Constabulary Force, will recognize and award one hundred and fifty-seven (157) members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Rural Police this year.

They are deserving of this recognition. Criminality is now varied and more complicated. They have more tools now and have stepped up their game. They are so much more polite too. .Mr Vegas the population of criminals have gone up vastly since the eighties.
Really now while a diamond in their crown is #1 murder rate in the world.

The Crime industry is growing rapidly presently appr $US2.9 billion about 10% of GDP more than either Agriculture mining or manufacturing.
Squaddie 13,000 JCF make up a significant part of the ligitimate sector playing catchup with the illigitimate clean and dutty criminal sector.
If the Crime industry collapses the Jamaican economy falters.
