Coronation Market

Routine cleaning is done at the Coronation and all other markets in Kingston and St. Andrew, every Sunday and Wednesday.

The KSAMC remains committed to ensuring that cleanliness and proper hygiene practices are maintained in our markets and other public spaces.

Mayor Andrew Swaby, His Excellency Fermin Quinones and Councillor Delroy Williams

Mayor Swaby recently welcomed His Excellency, Fermin Quinones, Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica, to our Council meeting. 

We have long shared a strong bond with our Cuban brothers and sisters, rooted in solidarity and mutual respect. 

Today, we celebrate the enduring friendship and brotherhood between our nations.

Discussions with Mayor Swaby and the Principal of Excelsior Community College, Mr. Philmore McCarthy have begun regarding a visionary capacity-building initiative. 

The aim is to have our staff enrolled in degree programs to enhance their capacity to meet the evolving demands of the city's needs. We look forward to the growth and impact this historic partnership will bring!
