The Israelis remember that day on October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked and many of their people lost their lives and many others were kidnapped.
I could not help but notice the caption by the BBC TV. We learned the English from the British but it seems as if they have forgotten their own language. Can you identify what is wrong with the caption on this BBC news screen capture.

It is indiscipline which causes these crashes. Jamaica has become a nation of lawless people where those who break the laws are treated as super stars. Soon an ex-convict could be the Prime Minister or even the Leader of The Opposition.
Man Drowns in PotHole
It is not a joke. Relatives believe that a man who was riding his bicycle fell into a pothole and drowned. Years ago I did a comedy routine while doing a news item as part of the routine. I reported that a car fell into a pothole and up until news time neither the man nor his car had been found. I could not believe I live to hear that a man had drowned in a pothole!
The length of the pothole looked longer than the Height of the man.

The Pastor and His Story about the MP Going To Hell, Then Heaven, and back to Hell!
Many of you might have seen the videos with that pastor telling the story about a politician visiting hell where things looked liked heaven. When the MP went to heaven he was not impressed with the conditions in heaven so he chose to go back to hell. When the MP went back to hell he was shocked to see the conditions of hell. It was barren and and the scorching temperatures where unbearable. The MP was shocked at the transformation of hell. The Devil looked at him and said yesterday we were campaigning and today you voted.
The pastor concluded by saying Amen and as he uttered the word Amen he fainted. It was interesting to note that it was two politicians who came to his rescue. Dr. Guy and Dr. Chang. It is great that the song to sing was not 'Fly Away Home' but 'Jesus Saves'. Yes those wicked politicians who will end up in hell saved him.
I believe that it was inappropriate for the pastor to tell that story at the funeral service for a grieving politician attending his mother's funeral. Now social media is burning up with a JLP and a PNP version of a clip of the funeral service video.
Pastor, you went to hell and back but praise the Lord you still have time to go to heaven. Walk good pastor and good wi falla yu.

My God I hope no one never died👹
Hope, hope...some of these so-called motorists are destined for hell and back as per the pastor saying. I keep repeating myself daily that what is happening in this lifetime is what the Holy Book predicted and is coming to past. UNRULINESS.
Why some of these people feel like if them no drive fast nobody will see them i pray every carless drive will dead when they crash and leave the innocent people alive who drive with them
Many of us have not learned to use the road properly. The fact that we have drivers' licenses do not mean we have all the competencies of a comptent driver. Driving is a competency that is developed continuously because we are always learning to manage different scenarios presenting themselves daily on the road. For example, the new drivers who believe that you cannot drive because you are managing the one car length behind the car infront of you and decide to overtake almost touching your mirror, while cussing you out, to fill that space. So accidents are not always due to speeding but inappropriate use of the roadways.
Somethings happen only in Jamaica. How could a man drown in a pothole? I can bet it has never happened anywhere else in the world. We need help. Anyway, liked the news report...he came upon the pothole... so she says...sad in every way.
Remember you don't drown because you fall in the water you drown because you stayed in there you can drown if you fall in a bucket of water or even in your bathtub if you are not removed.
We always blame speed for every road death and accidents when in truth an in facts speed is an innocent thing what causes most of these accidents are improper driving techniques until we adjust or change our driving techniques or habits then it shall get worse.
There's at least one PM who was a jailbird before becoming Chief minister and then PM and at least one more who should have been imprisoned for various crimes! Many leaders of society worldwide went to prison, including the great Nelson Mandela, Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X!
Pot hole had enough water to drown 100 persons.
Biologically/technically you can be drowned by a tablespoon of water,no water, your own saliva or other body produced fluids.
Let's assume this was *wet drowning* the individual could have other underlying conditions that could have lead to water asphyxiation then hypoxia ie lack of oxygen leading to a stroke (lack of oxygen to nerve and other cells) or a heart attack.
I would a thorough post mortem interesting because what if he was also under JWray and Nephew or other substance,
dehydrated or otherwise having the effects of underlying medical conditions.
This case is an interesting study for students in the security, medical and sociological or other fields of holistic study.
Even our academics have fallen into a kind of quick fix SOE mentality lacking in substance.
