Local government officers ascended to the top of the cool hills in Mandeville in Manchester, Jamaica, today, to have their annual Association of Local Government Authorities general meeting. Each side of the political divide I heard claimed that the other side had its own agenda at the meeting. It did not take long for the meeting to find that out.
I understand that as soon as prayers were said and they got God out of the way, satan was welcomed.
All of hell broke loose and pandemonium reigned. The situation escalated because controversy erupted over whether the financial report should be taken as read or not. Temperatures rose, and the cool Mandeville became very hot. One councillor went up and attempted to seize the microphone at the podium. At least one councillor suffered injury.
The meeting has been adjourned.
Let's hear if the police arrested anyone and if charges have been laid against anyone.
I have asked the President of ALGA, Councillor Winston Maragh, and Councillor Scean Barnswell, one of the presidential candidates, to send me a statement about the matter. I am sure that the political parties will take action against those councillors who were involved in the Trumpish behavior, and I expect the police to make a statement on this incident

CVM TV is down. I understand from a reliable source that the problem stems from Internet challenges. I have asked them for a statement which I will share with you. I called a few minutes ago and asked for the statement but they are in a meeting still.

ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that the pnp councilors have a very evilous intention especially Mr Sean barnswell for someone who aspire to be a mayor again displaying those kind of behais very unbecoming I wonder what the leader of his party will say what example is he displaying for the youths to emulate no wonder crime I getting out of hand all those who brought the meeting in disrepute should be ask to resign from the party those kind of behaviour is not only atrocious but very despicable.
ReplyDeleteI agree they must resign we don't want people like these to run our country
ReplyDeleteMakes me sick. Tired of the kas kas. Ja desperately needs some deserving leaders. 🙏🏽
