Big guns were barking in Waltham Park, Kingston, this evening This is what I was told by someone who sent me a message. Initial information is that five persons are dead.
I am appealing to the JCF to confirm this matter quickly and share the information with the media using the Emergency Alert System. The Emergency Alert System was set up to allow certain organizations to get voice, text, and video to media persons as it happens. We need to get accurate information out there before social media starts to spread its own stories.

The police need to look at the possibility that gangs are attempting to disrupt society and give the impression that this is all about politics. This line of reasoning would benefit the gangs who want Jamaica to become another Haiti. You have been warned. We are entering a new danger zone. Jamaicans must stand up against criminals. We must support the security forces and the security forces must support law-abiding citizens.
