Fab 5 For Jazz and Cabaret In The Gardens in April

Fab 5 has been described as a reggae and a calypso band in Jamaica. Those who see them as a reggae band will tell you the band is the oldest reggae band in the world. They have been in the entertainment business for about 45 years.

Fab 5 has released approximately 26 albums and has had many hit songs in Jamaica. The band will be remembered for being featured on Johnny Nash's album, "I Can See Clearly Now." 

In the early days, the band was mainly a show band, but it has developed into the most versatile band in Jamaica.  They have performed soul, funk, rock, jazz, disco, gospel, and classical music. They have had a significant impact on Jamaica's annual Festival Song Competition, which is a competition to select a song to celebrate our annual Independence celebrations.

This band, which operates in businesslike fashion, has their own recording studio (Stage Studio), record label, and distribution company (Stage Records).

They have performed at the Kool Jazz Festival, the New Orleans Jazz Festival, at Japansplash, and have entertained a live audience of one million at an anti‑nuclear concert in New York's Central Park. In July 2011. It's the band that is called upon to perform at many national functions in Jamaica. It the world class band, the globe trotters, the Jamaican music ambassador, who will display their vast musical talent as a show band, a backing band, a dance band at Jazz and Cabaret in The Gardens on Sunday, April 6, 2025, starting at 6:00 pm.
