Scamechanics and Mechanicrooks.

 CONTRIBUTED

As a man of experience always on the "BEAT"  helping to prepare the people for a productive sociocapitalist era.

Even as our present owners of 95% of Jamaicas capital.

Some are fully dunce parasitic pyramid scheming  capitalists who might have to be dragged on board screaming for their own good and that of Jamaica.

The political Parties need a new ideological consciousness that separates themselves in  more meaningful ways from each other JLP and PNP alike .

Necessary for them to capture minds, hearts, meaningful support and imagination of the masses now owning less than 5% of the Jamaican economy.Sociocapitalism is its embodiment ,go for it.

As you know "He who has economic power has real political power" that never changes whether it's old plantation slavery capitalism or new computerized AI plantation  capitalism today.

The formula remains intact even in what I call Sociocapitalism in China in that instance the CCP has learned capitalism runs things using the more equitable bottom up approach that works.

In 25 years China has moved their Middle classes earning $US30-$50 per day from 3% to 53%.

Jamaica's traditional MCs have headed downwards to perhaps 3-5% is a horror story.

The old plantation economic model like in the USA or Jamaica is inefficient and inequitable, Inefficient and incompatible with the demands and needs  of the people.

That is partly why crime has morphed into such a fast growing, attractive and lucrative industry.

Staffed in many instances by highly equipped CEOs being repositories of relevant skills and knowlege to grow the ligitimate and illigitimate sectors competing side by side.

The crime industry now is at least 10% of GDP while important sectors like Agriculture lags behind at 7-8%.

Jamaica is the second poorest with the second lowest per capita GDP in the Caribbean.

Haiti is # 1 $US1700

Jamaica #2 $US6700

Trinidad $20+ thousand and Barbados$18+ are more than 3 times that.

"What can go so".In reality Jamaica naah go noweh and is being manipulated by competing superpowers in the region.

Jamaicas politics and economics needs recalibration.

Bottom up development of the people with rural development in the forefront.

The old Kingston quasi colonization, domination and neglect of rural parishes, people and resources must end.

Kingston 6 and 8 have the best roads, reliable water supply electricity and security in the country.

The sugar cane industry died in Westmoreland,St James, Hanover ,Trelawny,, St Elizabeth and St Thomas.

No forward planning for replacement the economic activities so it is down to self help scamming, coke, guns and ganja runnings.

Our young men are being buried all over as politicians worry about Chinese Mechanic wholesales opening up and work permits.

The number of vehicles in Jamaica in 2015 was 190,000 today 2025 approximately 600,000.

A desired ratio is one trained/competent/literate certified mechanic per 100-200 vehicles would be 3000- 6000 such mechanics nationally or 214 -428 per parish.

This is not just about work permits and nationality there is a dire need for trained and trainable literate mechanics in the country.

For the sake of productivity ,survival, stabilityand growth of Jamaica let's think and act on these things.

Like doctors, Lawyers, accountants,, journalists and teachers we need a plethora of Rhodes Scholar Mechanics and other skills.

So as not to be overrun by Scamechanics and Mechanicrooks 2025 and beyond.

  1. I believe this article is straightforward and to the point! I would add that other neglected industries, such as aviation, deserve attention as well. Jamaicans once took pride in having skilled pilots, competent maintenance engineers, and reputable pilot schools. Although Air Jamaica was beyond repair, it’s unfortunate that no other airline has been established in its place. Our tourism industry is thriving, yet we don’t have a single airline to transport passengers. These industries are crucial for generating essential income in the economy.
