Please listen to the voice of this lady who is very dissatisfied with the UWI Hospital's state.

Apparently, there is a shortage of beds at the UWI. To what extent has the level of crime and the number of accidents on our roads in Jamaica exacerbated the shortage of beds?
Do they have a computerized system to register patients at the UWI? Can the system keep track of patients' location, treatment given, and medications received?
Have you been to the UWI hospital recently? What has been your experience?

ReplyDeleteThe University hospital is worse than a market!!! Took my mom there with a head injury about 5 years ago, ended standing beside her bed for 7 HOURS waiting for her to be treated for a doctor! The nurses stroll around like ballarinas. Eventually WHEN the doctor came I had to help hold down my mom while she was injected and her head stitched!
