This is a dramatic development in which the DPP has revoked the general fiat, which was permission to associate with prosecuting a matter previously granted to NEPA/NRCA.
In a release from the DPP office today, the release stated that in respect of cases currently before the Court, these prosecutions will be conducted by an Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions and/or two (2) other specially assigned Crown Counsel.

What is this news release saying? So legalese and erudite.
ReplyDeleteThe DPP is a lawyer and the matter is a legal one therefore you are not going to have the release with a different tone. I let my readers have a copy of the release rather than writing a story on it which is what is usually done. Read it a few times and Google what you don't understand.
