What is The Correct Answer?

The question displayed in the picture above was asked during the news on TVJ last week. I thought the answer was obvious, but as far as I can recall, no one got the correct answer!

Do you know the answer?

  1. Too many abortion taking place even tho it's illegal here, those underground doctors earning millions by deciding who lives and who dues, in cases where birth may cause serious threat to the lives of mothers yes that method should be considered but not on the scale of murder as is happening now.

  3. *More sex to save Jamaica*

More sex, more children, more people replacement rate should be 2.1 it is at 1.9 or else by 2045 population could plummet from 3 million to 1.5 million.

Stop buying imported sperms Jamaica for invitrio fertilization (IVF) of women locally.
Tight pants, alchohol, drugs, murder, subversive sexuality and unhealthy lifestyles are mashing down Jamaica's sperm counts and viability.
Healthy lifestyles is a must if Jamaica is to survive.

More sex, more pregnancies to save Jamaica from being decimated.
New slogan for incentivized Family planning programs now.

Without an adequate population growth and replacement a society cannot survive.

    Go for it Jamaica:
Three for Free don't cry Cree.
Free Education and Health care, housing with subsidized transportation.

More sex responsibly to save Jamaica?

  4. I'm actually very interested to hear the "obvious" answer from Vernon, as I think it's a complex problem with no easy short term solution. If I were to propose a long term one though, it would be for us to address the challenges we are having with boys.

Their socialization; the way they are taught and the way they learn;, the age at which we test them, the prevailing toxic attitudes around masculinity. All these factors contribute to our Jamaican women looking at the under-educated, under-employed, drugged-up excuses of Jamaican men and say to themselves, "No thank you".

  5. If our society, environment and social systems were functioning at a level where each citizen felt valued and safe, with a sense of belonging you would then need to curb the birth rate!

Fix the system - stamp out corruption, provide social services in vulnerable communities, make school the place where talents are unearthed and challenges are addressed.

GREAT FREE EDUCATION for all will solve 90% of our challenges and, we are blessed and brilliant we can manage that 10%

  6. It is also the high cost of everything. We'll thinking women are opting not to have children as they will not be able to provide them with what is NEEDED. That includes all the things mentioned by others. Also, those who opt, wait until they have established careers and in many cases have just one child. . Many times they don't care if the fathers are present or not.

  7. Jamaica should have a system where men are forced to have a skill and gave a proper education. Then men should be forced to pay child support even if they migrated to overseas & all kids should av their father's last nam. Both parents should be allowed by law at RGD to register children.

  9. How can people be expected to have children when they can barely feed themselves in these challenging economic conditions?

  10. It is a simple question, and the answer is simple. Fertile heterosexuals should enter into relationships, have more sex, and have more children. The question was not about motivating people to have more children or giving them incentives. The journalists have forgotten how children are produced :)
