There are some places in the public and private sectors that stand out for providing excellent customer service. Today, I had a lovely experience at Fontana Pharmacy, Waterloo Square.
As you enter the compound, you are captivated by the ambience. Parking spaces have been properly marked, so you don't have to park too close to other vehicles.
The security officers at the entrance welcome you with a pleasant smile. The staff members are there to entice you to visit specific sections. Today, one told me about the electronic section upstairs. For a second, I thought I was in the wrong place - Fontona Pharmacy at Waterloo Square is more than a pharmacy.
Items were attractively displayed on the shelves, enticing customers to buy everything.
While I was in the pharmacy, my phone rang, and I realized that someone was outside to meet me. I dropped my basket at the corner near the entrance. When I returned, I did not see my things, so I remarked to one of the security guards, "Dem tief mi tings dem."
She smiled and then said, "You should have told me that you were heading outside and you would be back." She neba realize say a trouble mi did a give har.
Going to Fontana Pharmacy at Waterloo Square in Kingston is an experience. That pharmacy should have very little competition in the business environment in Jamaica. It was good to see the staff wearing their name tags. One could therefore address them by name, and if they made a misstep, they could be held accountable.
I have one suggestion, and that is to have barriers in the car park to prevent cars from hitting the wall when they are parking.
