| The Hon. Senator, Dana Morris Dixon |
The National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority (NaRRA) Bill, tabled in March 2026 and passed by the House of Representatives in April 2026, aims to accelerate infrastructure reconstruction following Hurricane Melissa. It establishes a single authority to fast-track procurement and development projects, reducing bureaucratic delays. Bark Di Trute hopes to get a copy of the bill soon.
Many Jamaicans are not aware of the importance or unimportance of this NaRRA Bill. We have been bombarded with cussing and tracing in Parliament, and we are still in the dark. The Hon. Senator Dana Morrison Dixon has published a document with questions and answers. I would love for the PNP to send out its information about this NaRRA, and those who do not feel obligated to any political party should put out information to help the people understand what is happening. This is what many would call wishful thinking.
