Bark Di Trute Comments On The Behavious Of Some Parliamentarians

Many Jamaicans are becoming disgusted with the behaviour of some parliamentarians. There was a time when you would accuse one or two members of parliament who were bringing the position of parliamentarian into dispute, but now the number is growing.

This cannot be allowed to continue. You are elected to lead and not to become rabble-rousers who have no respect for protocol. For example, I am shocked that some members of parliament do not understand what a point of order is. That is something many of us learned in high school.

Giving the excuse that you are not children and you should be treated differently does not hold water. Children are not expected to know better, but you should. If you do not respect authority and the rules, then what do you expect from the people you lead?

  1. What do you expect from them if all kinds of booguh yaggah ex criminals and one room grown up people are being elected. It's our fault.

  2. Many Jamaicans have been properly brought up in ‘one room’ situations, so please let us not label anyone as such.

Poor or bad behaviour, as we have all seen, is not the purview of the poor or less fortunate! So let’s not discriminate, we must hold each Parliamentarian to the standard that is expected and acceptable.

General standards are deteriorating across the board, our moral fibre is in tatters, we need a complete overhaul and re-set.

RESPECT for each other and for the Office held! God Bless and Jah Guide🫶🏻
