The First Report
At the intersection of Shooters Hill and the Paul Bogle Highway, water caused the road to deteriorate two times. The people in charge of building the highway dug up the road and fixed the problem. Well, so they thought
It was about 3 to 4 months ago that they fixed it for a second time. The road is having the same issue again. Water is rising, and the asphalt is breaking up.
The Second Report
At the intersection of Stella Road and Paul Bogle High in Harbour View, there is a sewage backup. The odour is affecting the people nearby, and the pedestrians have to be careful when traversing the area.

What Roy has reported here is nothing new. It could be a high water table creating the problem, or an underground stream is at that spot. I remember this problem below Bryce Church in Manchester and also Glastonbury in Trelawny. Are we going to continue fixing the road in this area rather than dealing with the underlying problem so that a few people can 'eat food'?
I believe that the way we maintain our roads is having a major negative impact on the government's ability to deal with other challenges.

It looks baaad. Kingston the last time I heard was the capital of Jamaica.
Foundation fren says...this is a grave issue with our roads and bridges. Where are the hydraulic and structural engineers . It appears that political henchmen from the party in power at the time are the ones that take on tve task of engineers,.. Incompetence and nepotism is at the root if this problem.
