The frequency of NWC broken mains during this drought is helping to deplete the water that is now in the dams. Thanks to those Bark Di Trute supporters who continue to report these broken NWC water mains.
The following is a second message sent to me from an NWC customer about gallons of NWC water running to waste for a day now. This was received on September 21, 2026.
It ran all night. At 6:30am it is still running. All the way down Stilwell, turning on to East Oakridge then turning again down Lakehurst Drive and emptying into a culvert as seen here.
The following message was received on September 20, 2026.
Water gushing from a hole in the road at RockHampton Drive off Stilwell Road. Hole looks like it was dug by digger/ tractor.
