Item Just In!

I just received a video that shows there are challenges in Spanish town now. Based on the video that I saw, it seems at least one person is dead. If you have more information, please WhatsApp it to 876 816-5261.

By Delavega City, by the Spanish Town bypass, the road was blocked by citizens. Many prison warders have not been able to turn up for work. Residents in the area are concerned about the security risks this might pose if sufficient wardens are not available to supervise the prisoners.

Business Refused To Refund Cost of Using Credit Card For Undelivered Items - Relented Eventually

The morning one of my supporters called me to say that he went to a business place to purchase medical supplies. The staff confirmed that it was available. The customer used his credit card to pay for the items.

The staff came back to him and said the items were not in stock, therefore he would be refunded. The credit card charge would not be refunded, though.

I told the gentleman that he was being told utter rubbish. I told him he was given incorrect information, and he acted on that in good faith. The staff or the organization would have to stand that loss.

I called the company, and I was thoroughly interrogated by a very pleasant lady. She wanted to know my name, why I was calling, plus I had to give other information.

When you need to speak to the boss, there can be a few obstacles. The lady told me the manager was not available. I asked if there was a supervisor or anyone else in management who could assist. She said no person was there to assist. I came to the conclusion that the workers were directing the operations.

The determined customer went back to the place this afternoon, and they decided to refund him the full amount.

I am proud this consumer stood up because many of us would just walk away. Congratulations to the Medical Plus for giving a full refund. Please advise your staff how to deal with a similar matter in the future. Other consumers, please take note and other organization don't even attempt to do it.

ALGAJ President Winston Maragh's Story About The Aborted ALGAJ Annual Meeting

Councillor Winston Maragh, the President of ALGAJ, gives some shocking information as to what happened at the aborted ALGAJ meeting. I need to have the perspective of others who were present.

What's Happening - February 6, 2025

Car Thief Killed?

Stock picture.

A report just came in that an alleged car thief was shot in St. Catherine. If he was stealing the car and someone's life was in danger, then someone should get a financial reward. You have saved taxpayers probably thousands of dollars. If he was convicted and placed in prison, then taxpayers would have to feed and clothe him and be responsible for his medical care. The street people must be envious of those in prison.

Possessed By Demons

I have blurred the video above because a child is in it. It is important to see what our schools are dealing with. This child is behaving as if he is possessed by the devil. This child needs to be assessed and possibly placed in a special institution. You will notice that he was not touched until he assaulted a teacher. This is not a school matter; this is a matter for the police, the psychiatrist, and social workers. The parents should pay for the damage done to the furniture.

Can this child's parents care for and nurture him? If they are not able to do so, then the state should intervene and take steps to remove the child from the home. The authorities should take steps, to ensure the parents are not allowed to have any other children under their care.

This youngster will become the next gang leader in a few years time if appropriate action is not taken. Mark my words!

Selecting Your Mayor

Minister Desmond McKenzie says that when a mayor is selected, the mayor serves for the life of the council. The mayor can be removed by a no-confidence vote by the councillors. This can take place after the mayor has served for a year. The current system of selecting a mayor is outdated and ridiculous. The people should be allowed to elect their mayor, and there should be a set day for elections. If a council seat becomes vacant, then there should be an election within three months, unless parish council elections are due within a year or less.

Shortage of beds in ICU at Hargreaves Hospital in Mandeville

I received a report that there are no beds for seriously ill persons in the ICU. This is a major challenge at the Hargreaves Hospital in Mandeville, Manchester. Patients have to be sitting on chairs. Before you start blaming the authorities, we need to look at the number of accidents on our roads and the high level of crime!
