It has been brought to my attention that the President of the USA is intent on defunding abortion and education.  Abortion is one thing, but cutting enlightenment that leads to education, liberation, and Emancipation from mental slavery is foolhardy.

A policy like that is surely going to affect poor whites,  blacks, hispanics and native Americans. That will increase the cost to the American economy to way over $3 Trillion when you add their estimated cost of illiteracy at $2.2 trillion.

America already has the lowest levels of literacy in the developed world of 79%. Jamaica as a developing Caribbean country has a worrisome 88% literacy rate.

Trinidad, Cuba and Barbados in the 99% -100% range.

I have already proposed a Jamaica America Movement for the Advancement of Literacy

(JAMAL) we ready so talk to Presi Donald T.

Show him how the Elon Trump Empire will recover and be advanced with improved literacy and Educational possibilities.

The sky is the limit America.

Crime - Immediate FIxes or Address Root Causes With National Social Plan

The persistent issue of crime prompts a critical examination of the factors contributing to the consistently high crime rates over the years. Various reports link violent behaviour to physical abuse as a method of disciplining youth, while others highlight the lack of economic resources as a significant cause. This presents a complex and serious social problem.

Current strategies primarily emphasize increasing police presence and boosting security measures. However, a critical question arises: Is there a comprehensive social plan in place to tackle the root causes of crime and outline clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)? For the past 25 years, the dominant response has been to ramp up policing efforts, which often proves to be a temporary fix rather than a strategic solution with SMART objectives.

Jamaica is known for its high density of churches, and organizations such as Jamaica for Justice play an important role in the community. It is essential to gather relevant statistics and insights into existing social programs designed to address these pressing social challenges effectively. Only through a holistic approach can we hope to make meaningful progress in reducing crime and fostering a safer society.

I have been the National Director for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme in Jamaica in the past.  I definitely see the need for a similar social programme for young people, suited for Jamaica and the Caribbean. I would love to assist in setting up a new National Youth Socialisation Programme for young people.

DPP Revokes Fiat After R v Trade Winds 2023 Case - Is This A Slap In The Face?

This is a dramatic development in which the DPP has revoked the general fiat, which was permission to associate with prosecuting a matter previously granted to NEPA/NRCA. 

In a release from the DPP office today, the release stated that in respect of cases currently before the Court, these prosecutions will be conducted by an Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions and/or two (2) other specially assigned Crown Counsel.

Notorious Personality in Shooters Hill Taken Down??

I just got a report that one of the most wanted and dangerous person was taken out this morning with two others  by the police at Shooters Hill, in Kingston. 

Feedback from the area indicate that residents are happy about the demise of this individual and his cronies. 

One if those killed was incarcerated for ten years. He came out of prison and went back to his life of crime.

This seems to be another case of criminals taking on the police and end up being taken out. Let's hope that we get a report from the police about this matter as soon as possible. Failure to get the information out soon, could result in the development of fake news.

Councillor Damara Lawson - Southborough Division

I continue to talk to our political leaders, and I am learning several things from them. I am aware that some political leaders need to pack their bags and go, but many go far beyond what they are expected to do as a political representatives. I believe that the emphasis should not be on job a description per se, but on transparency in terms of what they do.

Today I had a very interesting discussion with Councillor Damara Lawson who represents the Southborough division. I learned quite a bit from her.
