The JCC Partners with Ministry of Education, Youth and Information and the JMEA To Support Children

Rev. Newton Dixon - President of the JCC

The Head of the Jamaica Council of Churches (JCC) Rev. Newton Dixon, says that the JCC has partnered with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, the Jamaica Manufactures and Exporters Association (JMEA) and some local churches to facilitate educational support for 122 displaced students in 8 rural communities in St. Thomas. Many of these students have had no meaningful educational engagement since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This initiative will be launched on Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Bethel AME Church in Bethel Gap, St Thomas at 10:00 am.

Hear how organizers are partnering in order to address the needs of our children.
