Mackie Conscious' Positive Music - Broadcasting Commission Bans Some Songs

Mackie Conscious

While the Broadcast Commission now places a bans on music that promote violence, lotto scamming and the drug Molly from the air waves, recording artiste  Mackie Conscious re-energizes the song, 'More Reality'. This was recorded almost 20 years ago when he was preaching positivity and calling for more of it in our music/lives. This was produced by veteran radio broadcaster Richard (Richie B) Burges in 2003 on his energy Beat Label. "The song never did well on the airwaves  because the airwaves then was bombarded with slackness and gun lyrics", says Mackie Conscious.
Mackie Conscious says that he will  not have to compete with anything but conscious music on the airwaves now. Mackie Conscious also did the song 'Lucky Me Nuh Lucky' in which he spoke how his songs are potent but didn’t get the treatment they deserved from sound system selectors and Radio DJs. He hopes to be an ambassador against crime and violence now, through his music with  conscious and positive lyrics.
.

so much to teach the children in this world today
for us to teach them
music is the way
we got the lessons in so many way
if we lose our message they will go astray
we can't be careless and go on
we know whats right from what wrong
we have a duty we got to carry on
there is power in a song.

cho
make we chant to the sound of the rhythm of life with more reality
make we move to the beat of the rhythm with more morality
