Civil service association is a complete waste of time. Let them show the civil servants one benefit gained from their representation. People must stop contributing their money monthly so these people can spend time in hotels, enjoying themselves. Where were they when the government passed the family benefit act (recently repealed) under which the workers had to contribute 4 percent of their meagre salaries under the guise of providing a pension for their children under 19 and their spouses. Police, nurses, teachers etc, never had to pay this because their unions look out for their people. When you retire, try get back that money which they say is refundable if you have no spouse or children under 19. A person becomes an adult at age 18 so, why did it say 19. Could you find that age 19 in the definition of a child in the act. Absolutely not. It was hidden n the regulations

Re the family benefit act. A retired coworker of mine, after several years of trying to get a refund was told by ministry of finance, pension department in February 2023 that she should call back in September 2023 to enquire of the progress of her application πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
