    1. Totally agree...as long as he remains IC will not be trusted as the integrity of the institution is in question...in fact others should go too and other persons of integrity brought in to take institution forward. Quite telling we have not heard a comment from some key stakeholders.

  2. As a learned man and senior public servant he ought to have known better than to BLAME THE GOVERNMENT FOR A CRIMINAL ACT for which he has zero evidence.
He knows the political implications of his comment. Hence one cannot be blamed for assuming clear BIAS on his part.

As a consequence HE SHOULD RESIGN FORTHWITH.

  3. Why not blame the Government they are in charge of the running of the country's affairs and crime is like a runaway train.
In that sense why not blame or ask the government,
    "WHY?".
Greg Christie (GC) is a man known to speak his mind,he is no hypocrite.
GC didn't hide him stick then bludgeon you to death.
GC is one feisty self assured alleged narcissist Jamaican citizen should not resign.
Now he has apologized so he means it is my opinion.
Jamaica should not take the bait and insist on GC resignation.
GC straight up and if you think he can be bought you are in charge of the Jamaica Dunce Machine Manufacturing Cooperation Ltd.
    GC must stay don't go.

  5. When I watch and listen to what Mr Christie's response to the question which was asked of him I saw nothing where he was blaming the government please note the question was asked and his answer was ask the government he did not say its the government . Please look back on the verbal attach on the IC over the past year by members of this present administration why non of the persons who are now calling for Mr Christie's resignation did not call on the PM for the immediate dismissal of those persons which leads us to the point where people are now speculating on the robbery shooting is due to what happened to the speaker of the house what those persons should be demanding is for the PM to name the six persons who the IC is investigating who it is alleged enrich themselves from the government coffers instead of delaying it or trying to cover it up bring it out in the open and let the chips fall where ever

  7. The media need to stop building a case against Mr. Christie. It wreaks with political motive. The current Andrew Holness government has been publicly attacking him verbally to sway public perception of this seemingly incorruptible man. Sorry I cant say the same for the lot.
