I listened to parts of the JLP conference taking place at the National Arena. We know this is about a show of how big a crowd a party can bring out before elections. The JLP seemed to have succeeded in having a big conference. The PNP will say, 'No watch no face, wi no come yet'. They have also succeeded in having three PNP councillors join the party. Councillors James, Phillips and Myles.
Exciting political days are ahead. Let us hope that we do what we have to do peacefully. Let us not spend our time tearing down one another. Let us discuss ideas and how we will move forward.
Let us hope that supporters of the PNP ensure that all members of the JLP go home safely because we don't want anybody to blame you for any violence.
Looking forward to the PNP conference. Local Government Elections are coming up. The date of the elections is unknown. Let us all call for fixed election dates.
You will note that the JLP leaders do no refer to the JLP but the 'other party' during the conference. Some of their supporters are now using the PNP song, 'My Leader Bawn Ya'. Is the JLP becoming more astute than the JLP? Hold yu mout election no come yet.😀
