MP Charles and Councillor Barnswell Had Strong Words over Road Repairs

In politics, it is important to say who ensured the road is fixed. This could mean additional votes for who was credited for fixing the road. This was the case in Clarendon when it was reported that MP Pearnel Charles Junior through the funds allocated to the constituency for work to be done, he gave the go-ahead for this piece of road to be fixed.

Councillor Barnswell was definitely not happy because he is the councillor for the division and he says that the parish council was not informed about the road repairs.

I had requested a statement from Minister Pearnel Charles Jr., but I did not receive his statement in time.

I would love to get feedback from people living in the area about this matter. One expects leaders to get hot especially close to elections but I appeal to them to remain calm. I would hate for the followers to use this as a cue to start the war.
