The people spoke, and their voices were heard. One person was taken into custody in connection with the death of Mellisa Silvera. Whoever shot her in a specific area of her body seemed to have had a lot of hate for her. I understand from persons close to Mellisa that she was a tough cookie. We should not jump to conclusions though. Let us see what will come out of this case.
The question is, will the investigation continue? Which police officers did the initial investigations? Which doctor attended to her? Who initially sent out information that Mellisa died from a natural cause? Her children probably know a little more about their mother's death, but will they talk. They have probably started to wipe this terrible memory from their brains already.
Former MP locked up! Will he be charged and convicted? Will he face the death penalty?
Let the soap opera begin. Will there be stories of beatings, abuse, and infidelity for example? Will it be the mother of all trials? What will the headlines scream? Will the trial overshadow the elections? How will this affect the PNP? Will JLP persons use it in their political arsenal?
It will be another warm summer, and things will be heating up politically. Will this MP be the first to grace the gallows? What a life, what a situation! Living History! Tonight will be his first night in jail. It will not be sweet dreams.

ReplyDeleteLets don’t get too much ahead of ourselves. He won’t be the first politician accused of a crime and charge and as far as my memories serve me, only one I know was guilty and was convicted.
