Citizens have complained about the garbage at Campview Avenue in Kintyre. While we have the NSWMA collecting the Garbage, this does not mean we should throw garbage any and everywhere.

The people walk out their homes and throw garbage over the fence.
How difficult is it to understand the damage and problems this type of behavior causes???
Then come on Radio & cuss Mr Gordon . We need to ENFORCE Laws to Bite. The Commercial Businesses need to make arrangements for proper disposal. Those nasty ones who litter Domestic garbage where they feel - people must tek video &.expose dem - then dem go back go clean up plus you Charge dem. They're accustomed to live in filth.

Common human decency such as proper disposal of garbage can not be legislated. We have to work on the minds of our people to appreciate the need for the proper disposal of both industrial and domestic garbage. Nastiness and no consideration for others begin in the home. Children see adults throw garbage in the gully and open lots, throw bottles out the car window on to the road, so that's what they know to do with garbage.

ReplyDeleteSome of the nasty among us say if they don't mess up the place some people won't have a job!! We're in a sad and filthy state. Something has to be done - hefty fine or community service to remove garbage from the streets (at least 10 bags)
They also shit, piss, spit out gum and flem anywhere. We are not taught to keep our environment healthy and how do we curb that? Everything we see we do unless we are taught otherwise.
ReplyDeleteIf some of these people are not provided with the necessary or the basic commodities to dispose their garbages. They will find other means or ways to dispose their garbages. Most times the very same authorities that should be really helping is a disgrace to social society. However; there needs to be a balance, so we can compliment each other. Until we get this right, we will continue to have serious problem with garbage collection.
