Camperdown Classic 2024 Attracting International Athletes - Damion Lowe and Mugabe Thomas to be Honoured

The 19th staging of the Camperdown Classic will be held at the National Stadium on  Saturday, February 10, 2024, starting at 0900 EST.

You can visit the website http://camperdownclassic.com for more information. The High school Boys and girls events will be combined this year.

The events are 60m, 100m, 400m, 800m, 4x100m, relay, 4x400m relay, Sprint medley, high jump & triple jump. Two persons will be honoured this year, Damian Lowe, Reggae Boys defender, and basketballer Mugabe Thomas. 

The entry fee adults is JAD1,000.00, children with ID or Children under 12 will pay JAD500.00

For 2024, the Camperdown Classic will reintroduce financial prizes for the Class 1 Boys and Girls 4 x 100 m relays. These prizes will assist teams going to the Penn Relays.

• First     - $50,000
• Second - $30,000
• Third    - $20,000

The Racers Track Club will again send their top athletes. Other local and international athletes will participate. Teams from Japan, France, Texas, Florida, Haiti, and Maldives have confirmed their participation.
