Consumers Continue to Complain About the Financial Institutions - When Will Action be Taken?

Good morning Vernon,

I visited the Spanish Town Branch of First Heritage Credit Union on Tuesday morning  February 5, in the Oasis Plaza. I am quite dissatisfied with the service offered.  I wanted to activate my dormant account so I enquired about the MoneyGram Service there. I was informed that the employee who worked at that desk was assigned to the Teller's Station and the Intern there was unable to assist me.

Hence, I was informed that I would have to go to another branch to access the service and deposit the funds into my account. 

I thought that was ludicrous because I wanted the funds to be deposited into my account at FHCCU. I told the Rep that Customer Service was not a PRIORITY for their business. The Rep at the Membership desk did not even offer an alternative to seek the Supervisor's or the Manager's advice on the matter. I found that to be very sad. Now I really would want to take my business elsewhere, where people are interested in customer affairs.

I hope they will take note of this matter and seek to address same expeditiously.
