RE: OVERTIME ISSUES

The Central Committee and Office of the Jamaica Police Federation have been receiving numerous calls again about the non-payment or part-payment of overtime. The issues are quite concerning to us and we understand the growing frustration.

However, there is a team from the Workforce Management who will make themselves available to you. Our colleagues who are affected must make immediate contact with the following members:

  • Det/Sgt Mark Lindo 8768333572
  • Det/Sgt Jerome Jones 8769979189
  • Cons Shamal Wright 8765632814

We will continue to monitor the overtime issues in the best interest of the rank-and-file members of the JCF.

If there are any further welfare-related issues, please feel free to call any member of the Central Committee or the Office of the Jamaica Police Federation.

Be safe, stay alert and may God continue to bless you all.

Best Regards,

Arleen Mc Bean, Cpl

General Secretary (JPF)

Something must be very wrong with our government style of doing the reclassification system. Some teachers still having problem's. Now police rank & file still having issues with over time payment. I thought this problem was over and done with. How did we get back here? Mr. Minister of Finance. Can you please fix these leaking problems for your teacher's and security forces. Remember, that unu pay tun up until unu a tun over now. So treat unu hard working citizens good. Without them we are nothing.
