Working With Citizens to Keep Them Informed

I set up two communication groups that are making a difference already. The first one is to get accurate information to subscribers as soon as the information is ready. This will help to reduce the number of misinformation we are bombarded with every day. You can get this information by Subscribing to the Bark Di Trute Community Group.

The second one is the Emergency Alert System. This system allows specific persons to communicate emergency information to subscribing media practitioners. This information can be shared immediately by media practitioners with the public. 

For example, if you click on the icon below, you will hear a message that is now viral on social media.

This message has been sent to ACP Gary McKenzie. We are waiting for his confirmation as to whether this message is accurate. This message is creating panic among some citizens.
